Autumn arrives
Golden brown leaves stream down from the vibrant trees
I listen to the leaves crinkle when I leap into their cradle
Smokey bonfires blaze our smooth faces
Chocolate and marshmallow settle into our saliva filled mouths
Sweaters temperate the hearts of all
Pumpkins increase in uniqueness
Horror fills Halloween with spook
But suddenly those once brilliant leaves start to decay
The bonfires are no longer in flame
Sweaters are replaced by heavy furs
Pumpkins are nowhere to be found
The terrifying creatures of Halloween disappear in an instant
When it’s finally time to leave this beautiful season behind
We point our heads toward the future in rejoice
Smiling merrily at the unknown winter ahead
