The Ladybug

The ladybug crawls across the dirty windshield
Passing by to say hello
She glances at me for one brief moment
But looks away shyly
She is anxious,
Believing I am judging her pace
And scurries away with fright in her legs
But she will say hello tomorrow
And the day after.
