The lake was shining the sunlight
Right off it.
Grass on the dunes
Was growing fast.
The boats on the water
Were fast as the currents
One ship was caught
In a storm
Radar gone
Sailing blind
Huge waves
Dangerous winds
Sadly, no member of the crew survived.
Everyone went down
With the SS Edmund Fitzgerald.
