Little Demon
She told me
Of a demon that comes in the night.
She told me
That no matter if she locked the door
Or bolted the window
It would come.
She told me
Of the ugly things it said
To a beautiful girl.
She told me
How it clawed up her arms and legs
Leaving behind the small scratches
On her arms and legs.
She told me
How her tears mixed with blood.
She told me of a demon
She could not fight off.
She told me of a battle
She could not win.
She told me the truth
That she was in pain.
