If you listen there’s a boy who keeps crying,
If you watch there’s son who never met his father,
When you touch him you can feel his heart slowing breaking,
If you knew him than you would say “Oh he’ll never make it”
But if you believe in miracles I can tell you different,
All those people who said he’ll never make it I wish they can look at him now,
Man!! Won’t they wrong?
They were wrong when they called him weak because he stands so strong now
They say he’ll end up dead or locked away but he’s teaching others right from wrong now,
The picked on him because he was small,
But if you look at him now he’s more than 6ft tall,
Than he was always into trouble now all he does is play basketball,
Never could stay in school but now he have plans to go to college.
A lesson to learn never judges someone when their young they can become a great person as time goes on.
That’s the American dream I live
