The rain falls down,
Along with my tears,
As your hurtful words sink in.
I can't think right,
I can't sleep at night.
You're the only thing on my mind.
I want to tell you,
I really do,
The impact words can have.
But you're ignorant,
So ignorant,
I can't seem to get through to you.
You laugh at me,
You scream at me.
I feel so inferior to you.
Why can't I just be free?
Free from your grasp,
Free from your charm.
Please just let me be me.
