Why did you say that joke today?
It was just a tease, you say?
Meant for a laugh,
A giggle,
Just for a play.
Do you not understand the full effect?
Of just one tease.
Sure,
You say its “funny”
Meant for no harm
But,
What about them?
The one you joked.
The one you teased?
The one you laughed and giggled at?
What happens when they disappear?
Was it your entire fault?
Maybe
But you just say,
In your
Disgusting and
Foul tone
“It was just a game
Just a tease,
Meant for a laugh
A giggle or two!”
Sure,
When you said it
Others laughed
And giggled.
And then,
They said more jokes
And they teased her more.
But the jokes not on her,
The jokes on you.
She goes home,
To beatings,
Abuse.
You go home
To love,
Care.
You have no clue,
What you just caused for her.
She was somewhat,
Safe at school.
She had friends,
Had fun,
Could laugh.
No one had a clue,
What goes on for her?
But now,
Now all her friends,
Laugh and giggle with you.
They all joke and tease her with you.
Are you happy now?
Are you and your sick,
Disgusting,
Foul mouth…
Happy now?
She was strong before,
Happy before,
Could take it all
Before.
But now,
With the beatings,
Abuse,
Jokes and teases.
The pain,
Just,
Overwhelms her.
Consumes her like the monster you created does.
She,
Has been swallowed,
By pain,
Hatred,
Lies.
Eaten alive by the devil itself.
While,
Ha…ha…ha….
The jokes still on you.
You were once friends,
Once you all laughed,
And giggle together.
At one time,
You even knew,
You saw the burses she had.
Sprawled across her skin,
Like a pattern.
But you did nothing.
You said nothing.
Instead,
You just feed her more to the monster,
Just sat there,
And watched her get consumed.
She came to you even,
A plea to stop it all,
A white flag,
She waves in your face.
But you did nothing,
You said nothing.
You ignored her like she was a disease,
A plague.
Do you still think it’s funny?
Cause the jokes still on you.
While she rots away in the grave,
I hope you are happy.
I hope you regret nothing.
She gave you a chance,
She tried to compromise,
She was strong.
But,
You,
You….
You never thought this would happen.
Never thought she could go that far,
You thought she was strong.
She was,
She was incredibly strong.
But,
You,
Just had to add to that monster inside of her,
Didn’t you?
Why didn’t you hear her plea?
Her cry for help?
Her tears for a simply friend.
No one did,
No one wanted to.
No one wanted her
Maybe,
It was too late.
Maybe,
She was just too tired.
Maybe,
She just wanted to give up.
It,
Was the end of the world
For her.
The,
End of her beautiful life,
For her.
But you,
Destroyed her beauty,
Created that monster,
That lurks,
And creeps,
Inside her.
While she is,
Passed out
From beatings and abuse.
You are living,
Laughing,
Smiling.
People treat you right.
Not her.
You destroyed her beauty.
And created that monster.
I hope you are happy.
I hope you don’t die alone,
Like she did.
I hope you never,
Create another monster
Inside something beautiful.
I hope you live,
A good life.
A good life,
Not alone like she was.
But of course.
She,
Was strong,
Unlike you.
Beautiful,
Unlike you.
And Alone,
Unlike you.

I hope you are happy,
My dear.
Because,
The jokes still on you.
