Heart's Foolish Game

Love isn't easy,
It's a chase and a race.
You can't out run it,
By going too fast.
Though if you're too far behind,
Then you'll easily get lost.
Love is a challenge;
One so mentally excruciating,
Making you wonder if its truly worth it.
One that blossoms flowers in your heart,
Thinking how you could ever
Be without the one.
Though you may often get
Caught up in dismay.
Allowing yourself to love,
And to fully love.
Is the key to your
Heart's foolish game.
