Tattered Girl
She's a broken fragile little girl who put up a cheerful front
A girl who's been torn down by the merciless world that she knows nothing of
People ripped her rose colored sunglasses off & left her to find it on her own
What they have done cannot be undone & will leave a gash within her soul
She feels her soul is tainted & is no longer worthy of any true affection
Sometimes she wants to end it all but doesn't want anyone to miss her
She's not that important, people will live on & forget her name.
Her heart is depleted with loneliness & hasn't felt so bad in a long time
people just don't get it
They truly didn't then & won't now
