My love was once honest
So honest and pure!
How could you leave me here?
Left wanting more

I hope you are happy
With what you have done
You’ve broken my heart
You’ve spoiled my fun

I hope she is pretty
Much more so than me
You might think I’m bitter
But just let me be

I’ve never felt anger
Like inside of me now
You’ve shattered my existence
Answer me, how?

Perhaps your new love
Will sour like me
And then you’ll be broken
Just wait and see

A close friend of mine recently went through feelings like this in a relationship that turned sour, she was treated badly and it resulted in feelings of hatred and self doubt. I hope this shows people that nothing compares to the pain of a heartbreak.
