Sands of Time

I am nothing but an empty shell that lives in this wasteland we call earth. It seems my time here is wearing thin, I can no longer last here in this sad, cruel world. I burn with a passion to free myself of this place. To rid myself of this planet. To just disappear...forever. I can no longer explain this feeling, this feeling of death, of lost hope. I feel myself slipping away like the sands of time. It's over, my life that is. All I have is the poetry I write for you. But I'm afraid it will not last.
