unrelentless

I am taking great strides
in my quilted black flats
with my unrelentless mind
I smile
and the world blazes with color
I cry
and the sky collapses in on itself
trying to express my hidden grief
I rage against the machine
against the corrupt social norm
and the pavement splits in half
I sing
and the chamber to my heart is exposed
and words
song
bleeds into skin
runs like ink
down my skin
so powerful
so potent
I touch you
and you turn to stone.

What inspired this piece? The power of positive thinking and I was in a really great mood when I wrote it.
