Antagonist
Not a narrow minded villain
Seeking your ultimate and final destruction
but the driving force for change in your life.
They come in every shape, size, color
And dimension
They may not be a they at all
Perhaps an it
or a when.
Your superiors
Your greatest love
the loss of someone close
Everything meaningful throughout history was influenced by an antagonist.
The hero always prevails
Not because of any divine intervention
But because it couldn’t happen any other way.
The antagonist exists to change the protagonist’s life
Not end it.
