Take the Chance
Why is it tht we can shrug something off so easily?
Dismiss anything we get hung up on?
Or turn our backs on something we care so much about?
Why do we have to pretend in front of everybody
As If it didn't hurt us as much as it really did?
Pretend to not care when inside its worse than ever?
And when your all alone it eats at you.
It keeps getting worse...
And worse.
Until finally you can't stand it anymore.
What do we do then?
What if we do something we will regret later?
Do we face our fears and tell someone about it?
Is there anyone you can trust with something so deep?
How do we know they will understand our actions?
Is that a chance you are willing to take?
It could be worth it.
Or it could ruin everything.
How do we know which choice is best?
Do we guess?
Does it just come to us?
Can anyone see it in our eyes?
Can they see how inside we're dying a little more every moment?
Are we hiding it that well?
Or is it so obvious that they all feel bad but are afraid to act?
Why aren't they helping make it better?
They all look at you with a sincere look.
Don't they realize it just makes everything worse?
I guess not.
