Behind the Double Doors
You can see it in their lies.
Kids are trying to live lives when they haven’t lived life.
Another complication in their system.
Too many faces crammed in one depiction.
They think they know it all. They’ve seen it all. They’ve felt it all.
They have emotions that they can’t afford
Another wave of doubt ignored, the right decisions aren’t explored.
Look into the eyes of the tranquil storm-
Behind the double doors-
Behind the face of the kids who fate destroyed.
I bet there’s life there- A child in strife there-
Teens who’d rather take their life.
There.
Inside the clouded walls, and through the crowded halls,
Just step back and view their flaws.
