A First To Everything

There is a first to everything
Whether it’s walking
Or learning how to ride a bike
Maybe even fly a kite
Whatever the case may be
It is worth it in the end, I can guarantee.
Don’t be afraid to inch a step forward
Because it is much better than inching a step backward.
In the end, I hope you realize
Today was full of surprises
And that there is a first to everything
Which you may find to be unbelieving.
