Favorite Quote:
"At my age, I do what any young man would do. Get up, shave, sit down to breakfast and my morning newspaper. Then, I check the obituary, and if I'm not there, go about my day as usual."

"Be a doctor, or a lawyer," they said.
As if I wouldn't lie in a college dorm room with my own bullet in my head.
But I see what they're saying, they're just my own family foundation.
They don't want to see me in a law school, or med,
they want to see me comfortable, financially stable, and fairly well fed.

The truth though, I'm just now coming out of high-school,
And I have not the slightest idea of what I want to do!
I want to travel, I want to box in the ring, I want to fly!
I want to do everything that costs a stupid amount of cash,
to which there is a clear amount of zero that I have stashed.

Save the twenty dollars mom gave me yesterday that I did not use to take my girlfriend on a date.
In fact, I didn't use it at all.
And in my minds view, I do have a clue of the infinite possibilities I could make with just a twenty,
but god knows it'll just sit in my wallet until I get the courage to leave my room.

Another thing, the world is SCARY.
But as Whitman says, in "Pioneers! O Pioneers!"
"We cannot tarry here."

I share a terrible disease that affects 100 percent of all teens world wide.
I am DEATHLY afraid of growing up.
I am filled with a teenage, childish, adult fear.
But I must not, I must face my fear.
I cannot tarry here.

And that's scary.
For I must not falter here.
And I must make my own expectations here.
For I cannot tarry here.
