There is a gir in our mist about to cry,
she has been called a burden,
not sure to live or die.
She has been called a long lost child trying to find a place,
A place that will give her love, happiness, and grace.
"But where will I find it?' she says in her mind.
"I'm sure someone will love me, someone that's kind.
Is it right for people to call me ungrateful and untrue?
At least I find happiness in things that I do!"
Then a very nice man comes over and takes her hand.
He says, "I will try and love you the best that I can.
I am not perfect and I try to be true.
At least I find happiness in things that I do."
The girl thought she had found him, the father of her dreams,
until she found out he wasn't all that he seemed.
He was like all the others calling her untrue.
"What's wrong with me? What's wrong with me?" the little girl cries out in the blue.
Then another man came along and said, "With you I will not depart.
And I will love you with all my heart.
Forget the people who brought you down.
I don't want you hearing anymore of their sounds.
So he took her home and put her to bed and said,"You will never be lonely again my dear.
You will never be lonely because now I am here!"
