Music
Music; the universal language
To know a culture, look to it’s music
Stories of the past
Hopes of the future
the distance can be vast
But the music carries further
A guest at weddings,
with its traditional tune of “here comes the bride”
a mourner at funerals,
with its healing melodies, always by your side
the perfect party attender,
adding to the memories that will last forever
the most precious escape,
when we go through troubles hard to endeavour
Music: the longest rope there is
Uniting strangers and inspiring friends
When words are at a loss,
music is there to mend
It’s the sweetest-tasting medicine there is
From rap, to alternative, to rock, to pop
There must be some style that makes your heart drop
From Jay-Z, to Justin, to Lana, to Queen
There is a perfect song for every teen
