My Twin
I once had a twin
A perfect but destructive twin
He was overly loud and never obeyed
I was always polite and did as was told
Free myself of him, I could not, as always he stayed
He loved me dearly though I knew his heart was ice cold
I shared with him my secret, as he blurted his all about
We told our deepest thoughts, mine good and his bad
We shared almost everything no idea or thought left out
It was not till later I realized something quite sad
My twin and I shared the same body even the same mind
I never had a twin
My twin and I were only but one
