Sight
Notice how
There is no measure of darkness,
Only of light?
Dark is simply what happens
When light leaves us
You can't shine darkness in front of you
To find your way;
You can't see everything He put before you
In the dark
But imagine a world where darkness
Doesn't exist.
There would be no measure of light.
For if there were no dark,
Light would always be
In between your toes,
And in your clenched fist;
Hiding under your bed,
And in the dead of night;
Light would rub out the stars,
And light would stop shadows
From scampering across walls.
Darkness
Lets us see light.
