If I vomited my guts out
Onto this page
Would it be art?
I guess it would matter what it was composed of
So if I ate a couple of tubes of oil paint
A few paint brushes
And a canvas
Would I vomit the Mona Lisa?
Art is pretty
But keep it ugly
Oh…and unless you live in New York
And can be spotted in nearly every gallery
You’re wrong
So which of these things pisses you off the most?
1.
You will never be good enough
2.
For some reason where you live explains the quality and value of your art
3.
Art has value
or
4.
Vomit is not art
