Every day is a routine
You walk through all the familiar scenes
School or jobs or kids to raise
Everything goes by in a haze
Every day passes by so fast
All of them wished away to not last
Life is hard for all of us
But it’s our fault it’s such a bust
Every day we don’t realize
All of the opportunities passing by
For all the ones in school
Don’t just sleep and drool

So waste no more time or you might miss it
That special someone that always walks by
Don’t wait for them, go up and say ‘hi’
Going through life being sad and blue
