My fate is indefinite.
I behold my destiny.
My heart is the path in which I fallow.
This soul of mine will never die.
In death I will live on.
My heart will beat in the breasts of youth.
My fate is indefinite.
I behold my destiny.
My legacy will be remembered by someone,
If only one.
I shall not fall underfoot.
I will rise above the masses in silence.
My fate is indefinite.
I behold my destiny.

The author's comments:
My English teacher, Dr. Lawson, is always inspiring us to be who we truly are. One Friday he was telling the class about fate and destiny being a choice. His words inspired this poem; for it is the truth for all of us, we choose our ways they do not choose us.
