Nighttime In Nowhere
In the night, the wind whispers her secrets,
The rain cries a lovely tune,
Crickets chirp to the beat of my heart,
Far away an owl asks, "who?"
A lonely dog barks for a friend,
The old trees' bones wine under the force of wind,
Lone leaves stutter across unpaved roads,
and the shy moon covers his face with stray black clouds.
