Proximity

Raised in love
a nurturing environment
To become the desired son.
Overpushing boundaries
in hopes of the achievement
of producing the perfect one.
Despite of the heartaches
the triumphs and falls
your love is second to none.
Yet I sit here and realize
those closest to me are the ones who hurt me the most.
