Discontent of the Nation

At Tian An Men Square
To Protest the Government
Students Gather Here.
Thousands of people here now
My Peking classmates as well.

Government warnings
Of mad retaliation
We still go protest
Finally that day arrived
I wish I had stayed at school.

Soldiers were brainwashed.
Told that protestors were evil
That we must be killed
No one thought this would happen
Tanks came to Tian An Men Square

Shots fired everywhere
Tanks ran right over the people
Screams and cries fill air
Fresh blood was spilled here and there
I ran as fast as I could.
