Chewing nervously on your bottom lip.
Blinking away the heavy lava in your eyes.
Your hiccuping; deep, threatening, sharp gasps.
Cracking open your chest.
Tugging impatiently at your heartstrings.
Your fingers tremble, reaching over to touch the green lake.
But you slip in and immediately the tears are gone.
You stare blankly up at the sun hovering above you.
And you realize.
You can end it all with one big deep breath of the liquid blue.
Your eyes flutter as you slowly part your lips and
inhale.
