Clouds
Clouds
Through the field
Step by step
Grass running through my hands
The wind begins to pick up now.
The field begins to dance to the tune.
I feel the ground rumble.
I look up
In the distance I stare
Light begins to be replaced by the dark
The sky is turning
Closer and closer the storm gets
The clouds begin to move over my head
And seem to stop in place, once over
Dark, depressing, angry they stand
They couldn’t take it
No more they could take
They start to tear
Drop by drop the rain comes
Hitting my face one by one
Soon it’s a down poor
Soaking my entire body
All the problems let out onto me
No where to hide no where to go
I stand and letting it hit me
The drops running down my skin
I don’t let it faze me
Light spears through the darkness
The good overcomes the bad
Sun begins to kiss my face
Darkness turns to warmth
Warmth drying my skin
I look up
There is always sunshine after a storm
