Nothing beats eating the first slice of an orange. The nectarous juices stream down my
throat with the perfect balance of tanginess and sweetness. With each bite of an orange, the
beauty of nature’s creation is revealed. With each bite of an orange, my mouth dances as the
citrus flavors prance around my tongue. With each bite of an orange, enough vitamin C gushes
out to supply me for a whole day. With each bite of an orange, the refreshing taste is enough to
complete my world. Though simplistic in appearance, oranges are, indeed, a work of art. The
outermost layer of the orange consists of a waxy peel that is, remarkably, smooth and shiny. As
one peels away that layer, orange mist sprays from the fruit like an all natural air freshener.
However, when the peel is gone, the actual treasure still lays inside enveloped in a white thin
layer. The orange, itself, is divided into many segments, snuggling side by side. Each varying
slightly by size, but tasting equally as wonderful. The moment a slice of an orange enters my
mouth, a wave of satisfaction washes over me and the desire for more settles in. This fantastic,
fresh fruit is not only toothsome in taste, but also bursting with benefits.
