Claiming Things
You claim the past was the past, but you can't free yourself
You claim you've moved on, when you keep bringing things back
You claim nothing's wrong, when you tell me "I can't say"
You claim we're friends again, when you're hiding secrets
You claim you're done with all this drama when you're going right back to the top
You claim you hate
Backstabbers
Liars
Cheaters
When all these things define you
You claim you don't care, when you clearly do
You claim you're to lazy to lend me a hand and it's not that you don't want to, meanwhile lending two to everyone else
You try to make me believe everything's okay by
Faking a smile
Forcing a laughter
But I'm better than that
For all you're claiming are lies
And now that I know, I know to stay away from you.
