Stand alone like years before

Outrage at the uncharacteristic only visible

Previous beautiful thoughts of pride and amazement for another
A temporarily fixed shattered mirror

Independent in fear in silence

A wish came true wrapped up with a setting sun

Breaking up with my first boyfriend, because of stuff he did that scared me inspired this. My memories with him and the way he made me feel beautiful makes me partially want to thank him. (I know it sounds cliche)
