Left Unguided
There is a drawing of a road in a forest that leads to some place,
The drawing has no colors,
I don’t know which color to pick if I color this drawing,
I have so much time to keep on pondering,
No place to be,
Nowhere to go,
So much time to look at this drawing,
And question as to where this drawing will lead me,
I easily sometimes imagine being led by the road to other paths,
Some of them just maybe unending, the same, and infinite,
Others different, elaborate, and colorful,
I think of these as the time keeps passing,
Passing as the blank sky through the night,
And the cloudless day over a prairie,
But as I go,
I will give each day another chance,
