Stop Stopping Me
The ocean, even in its most uncertain of times,
Never holds the waves from sweeping the shoreline,
Just as the moon, after he has spent a glowing night alone,
Has never denied the sun from shinning in the middle of the afternoon—
So why, as we grow to a state of utter infatuation with each other,
Do you still keep me from kissing your body,
After you made careless love to each demon inside of me?
What is it that makes you stop my racy fingers,
When all I crave is to silence the voices that have, for too long, taunted you?
