Behind The Clouds

The cold turned my face blue
The rain hid my tears
The snow froze my ambitions
The dark clouds always hovered over me
Until one day, a beam shot through
Many more followed
Suddenly, the sun broke free from the gloom
I had forgotten what was hidden behind those dreary clouds
The sun made my face glow
The sun’s heat dried my eyes
The sun melted all that was frozen
The sun highlighted all that was good surrounding me
Unfortunately, there will always be clouds
Partial or stormy
The sun can’t shine through all of them
But for now, it will do
