I met you last year
not knowing you would be so important
That was long ago
when days were long and nights hot
I paced back and forth in my head
I can count the days its been
I say 600
you say 16
How could this be?
When you're the only one I see
I know it sounds cheesy
But do you see differently?
Its been so long
The feeling of enthralment you give me makes my chest hurt
and my lips cannot move
and then I hear that my love is not returned
Unrequited love
I've been burned.
