The Boy with Clouds in His Eyes
There are people you know And people you’ll remember There are people you acknowledge And then there are the people you love This was love We both had deep secrets that were best left unsaid Many close emotions piled in our heads There was anger, sadness, and depression hidden in his eyes But whenever we were together that all disappeared Like any regular humans, we fought But there was more His eyes would turn the color of the deep grey skies I’d be frightened when his anger shown out So young, so innocent I’d never know how to handle it By the night fall a conclusion would be made And we couldn't wait for the very next day Sadly, the same old story would come again and I’d be lying on my bed crying once again It seems so unbalanced but strangely I felt safe That same sad routine kept me hid far, far away He felt guilty treating me that way But never did I not forgive him My family was his, and his family was mine Too close we got, that’s what happened This heartbreak now includes them to It happened so sudden, my heart wasn't ready He’d had enough of this mess, our crazy affinity The phone call was agony as he separated our lives To this day my heart still aches as I think about the boy who changed my life in a countless number of ways We’ll talk here and there from time to time, But as sad as it is Forever I will know him as the boy with the deep dark clouds in his eyes
