The Farmers' Poem
I see the farmer plowing, the dirt rolling over I see.
The farmer planting the seed, getting ready for harvest.
The farmer feeding the cattle every day twice a day.
The farmer building, or fixing fence to keep his livestock in.
The farmer baling hay to have feed for his animals.
The farmer working daylight to dark.
The farmer picking from his garden to sell at the local market.
The farmer fertilizing his crops to make them grow.
The farmer harvesting his crops to sell to and to feed to the world.
Each farmer never stopping all year long.
The day belongs to work, the night belongs to resting up for the next day of work.
