Seeing you is like falling
Into a deep abyss of confusion and pain and hurting
While feeling the sweetest most unimaginable bliss
A mix of fear and doubt and letting go
A bittersweet symphony
Talking to you is remembering
Reliving the ease, the comfort, the effortlessness
The feeling invincible, on top of the world
The conversations flowing like lemonade on a hot day
The warmth of the summer sun radiating on our bare skin
Knowing that what we had was forever
A seamless lie, the lines blurring in a haze
Lines between truth and façade
A beautiful aspersion, a finite infinity
Being with you is remembering.
