Roses

Petals wilt,
And roses die.
Their life is short,
And so is mine.
Their stems are cut,
And bend, they might.
The roses cry
Both day and night.
They hope and pray
To stay alive.
They always know
They'll have to die.
To see the rose's
Petals die,
If only once
A dream of mine.
The rose's petals
Fall so slow.
A pain
That only roses know.
