I remember the day he brought you home
No bigger than my palm
You would fit in my play truck
And grew bigger by day
I was the only one who could hold you
You would sit by the plants
Trying to hide
You would play with my hair
But soon hit my eye
You left me a week before Christmas
I was devastated
You brought me joy
And playful visits
You were so young
And now you are gone
