Infinity
To some, infinity is a number.
Well...
a number
of sorts.
To others,
it’s a way
of expressing
amounts of time.
“I love you to infinity.”
“To infinity, and beyond.”
These are all
well and good.
To me,
infinity shows
a lack of limits.
Limits,
of any kind.
I can have an
infinite
amount of knowledge.
I can show an
infinite
amount of love.
But given some time,
and a window seat
In a cottage
on a lake,
and some hot chocolate,
because I hate tea,
I could read
an infinite
amount of books.
I could visit
an infinite
number of places.
Beaches
and mountains
and towns with long names
and enjoy them
wholeheartedly.
To me,
infinity
is
more.
More than
just a number.
More than
just hours
and minutes
and days.
Infinity
is a destination.
