What Is Love

Love is such an ugly thing
Some get it
Some don’t deserve it
But do deserve it
And never get it
The way I see it-
Love is a game
Some win it
Some lose
Some don’t even get to play
For they may not get the opportunity to love
Well that’s me
At least right now
I am constantly being told
You won’t understand love until you’re older
Understand what?
What do I not get now-
That I will when I’m older?
Who says I’m too young to love?
I guess I won’t know all these answers
Until I have loved
