The Lonely Man, The Lonely Woman

There’s a lonely man
In a lonely bar
There’s a lonely woman
Looking at lonely stars
The lonely man
Walks the lonely streets
The lonely woman
Cries upon her sheets
The lonely man
Drinks the day away
The lonely woman
Grabs her bottle to play
Together yet apart
These two are not alone
They’re in each other’s hearts
And will be forever sown
The lonely man
Roams the streets for her
The lonely woman
Turns to Ice cream as a cure
Together these lonely hearts
Wished that they were never apart
But they can’t undo the past
They wonder just how long it will last
