Barred my Heart

I took the chains off my heart,
and replaced them with your arms.
I took the negativity out of my mind,
and replaced it with your words.
I took the war out of my eyes,
and replaced it with your smile.
I too the scars off my wrists,
and replaced them with your kisses.
I took the secrests out of my hand,
and replaced it with your trust.
I took the hate out of my world,
and replaced it with your love.
I gave you the power to destroy me,
but I trusted you not too.
