Dear CF
Dear CF,
I linger around your mesmerizing innocence,
Where love burns and
Cries to melancholy stones,
You’re pouring into my lifeless eyes
With your voice like a child
That quietly sips sea mist in the dirt.
Have you come to listen to my hallow farewell
Creating an image of white dust
To splash through tender hands
Waiting for my comforting arms.
A once protecting blue sanctuary,
Of questioning tears
And freckled eyes.
My fingers play you on the piano
Allowing ribbons to entrance your presence.
A vanilla ship sets sail,
To the blackest sunset
With imaginary wounds,
Leaving vessels to another lover.
You’re but a small child,
Crying the betrayal into utter darkness
The fear engulfing you,
As a tear falls down a rosy cheek.
My lies put you’re here didn’t they?
I didn’t see the demons,
Molding you to stone,
Dulling your eyes,
Once so bright.
But now rain pours
As a gasp escapes my lips,
I don’t want you gone.
Forever yours….
