Long Distance Friendship
I wrote you countless poems
That is why I do not know how to start.
There were many words I kept,
They were locked inside my heart.
I want to tell you thank you
For always giving me hope.
Thank you for staying connected to me
Like we are attached to some kind of rope.
And when the tears roll down my cheeks,
You help me wipe them from my face.
I know you would hug me if you can,
If only we were in the same place.
There is so many areas in the world,
In this big global sphere,
And there was not one time
When I stopped wishing you were here.
Thanks for taking care of my fragile heart.
You keep it from breaking
And know you will always be in it
With every step I'll be taking.
And maybe I am not a perfect friend,
But really I am giving you my all.
I will be there to rescue you,
Save you endlessly when you fall.
And whatever the others tell us
Remember, our friendship is strong.
That even if they think we can't make it.
We will just have to prove them all wrong.
And as the time passes by,
We will always be together.
Know that I still love you,
For as long as our forever.
