Misplaced Anger
Rising from your seat, you walk away.
Your intentions are clear.
Proceeding to open the black door,
You slide one foot onto the board ahead.
The other quickly follows.
Nobody can stop you.
Nearer and nearer to the edge,
Without catching a single breath.
Others whisper at you to come back.
In through one ear, out the other.
Suddenly you are blinded by the light.
