Choices
Choices never ask
they impose upon the few
and bethrone them
leading sometimes
to bereaved paths
or a new pinnacle
the forbidden course maybe
or a less scared road.
The unknown destinations
will come closer
with every passing autumn
the swiping childhood
and the seconds ticking.
I cannot envision, can I
the unwoven to-be present
it will roll itself
as the wheel turns
and the bells chime
the barren springs colossal mansions
as the sweet scent gets buried
and the time extends to vastness,
the blackness of cosmos
where finite doesn't halt
and hidden destinies are wrapped
the space of secrets,
mystifying lore
impossible to cognize
yet revealing its bit
when the minutes go mature.
The present can't
see its future,
only the faded light
of flickering coals
is shown ;
I can see them, yes
the various intricacies
and then choose
if the choices allow
to quell my thirst
of satiability and the
hunger of feats.
