You make me feel lighter than air
You caress like wisps of heaven
And I touch the tendrils in your hair
When you’re not around I search for your figure
And my fingers turn up an elusive essence
Laying here while in sleep your image
Your shape and smell tease me out of sleep
And I have to let you free
A dream away from me
My brain recalls you and then screams
Into my brain a whisper -your name
Like an out of body experience
I feel you so close and then you’re gone
Like a premonition
And you say one day you will be gone
I’ll forgive but how could I forget
These feelings every time I touch
These sheets of silk on my bed
When it will block sleep
Thoughts of regret bang in my head
As always I find myself alone counting sheep.
This hart ache...
